TERMS OF SERVICE — Distorted Reality

Welcome to Distorted Reality. By accessing our site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1) About Us

This website is operated by Distorted Reality (“we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting the site and/or purchasing, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2) Eligibility & Acceptable Use

You must be 18+ or have guardian permission to use this site.

You agree not to use our site or products for unlawful purposes.
You must not upload or transmit malicious code, spam, abusive content, or anything that could harm the site or other users.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the site.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

3) Product Information & Availability

All items (including presale items) are made to order. Production times vary depending on demand and supplier capacity.

We may limit quantities, discontinue products, or correct errors (including descriptions, pricing, and imagery) at any time.

Colours displayed on screens may vary slightly in person.

4) Pricing & Payments

Prices are shown in AUD and may change without notice.

We accept Shopify Payments and major credit/debit cards.
All payments are processed securely.

Prices may vary from time to time due to promotions, supplier changes, or printing costs.

5) Shipping

Shipping timeframes begin after production is complete.

Once a parcel is lodged with Australia Post or the courier, delivery is outside our control.
We are not liable for parcels once in carrier possession that are:

  • stolen after delivery

  • delayed due to carrier issues

  • addressed incorrectly by the customer

6) Returns, Replacements & Refunds (ACL)

As items are made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind or wrong-size returns.

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if your item is:

  • faulty

  • damaged

  • significantly different from its description

  • incorrectly supplied

Depending on the issue, we will repair, replace, or refund in line with ACL requirements.

7) User Content (Reviews, Comments, Submissions)

By submitting reviews, comments, or messages, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, and share that content for marketing, feedback, and product improvement.

We may remove content that is offensive, abusive, misleading, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.

8) Intellectual Property

All artwork, designs, logos, product imagery, and site content are owned by or licensed to Distorted Reality.

You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or exploit our content without written permission.

9) Prohibited Activities

You must not use the site to:

  • violate the law or infringe IP rights

  • harass, abuse, or defame others

  • upload viruses, malware, or harmful files

  • scrape or collect personal data without consent

  • interfere with site functionality or security

  • spread misinformation

10) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of the site or products.

Our maximum liability is limited to the remedies required under the ACL or, where permitted, to the total amount you paid for the order.

11) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the site after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Australian law.
